Depending on the type of injection, most injections are performed in an Ambulatory Surgery Center(ASC) under X-ray guidance, also known as fluoroscopy. This enables our physicians to visualize your spine to ensure accurate needle placement. The benefits of having the injection done under X-ray guidance are, reduced risk of complication and improved chances of positive results.

To help our patients feel comfortable during procedures, patients may receive monitored medication through an intravenous line called “Conscious Sedation.” These medications may cause drowsiness and a state or sense of well-being during procedures to aid in any anxiety or discomfort that a patient may experience. We truly believe in the philosophy of safety and creating a comfortable patient experience.
